the house that coco built

I'm having a super productive day!
This has put me into a very good mood. Had a few good days!
May have some good news...time will tell!!
I got given a black and white jacket yesterday by a designer....was very happy!
The baseball kind that are trending right now. Was a good day!

Anyway, I've been looking over the Pre-Fall A/W11 Collections,
and I am loving what Chanel have created...

The collection is a plethora of textures, with opulent
luxurious knits, lace and floaty fabrics.
Colour palette is a mix of the classic Chanel black and white,
combined with golds, and beautiful autumnal colours.

It's like a juicy bowl of exotic fruit, each gilded and wrapped in lace bows.
It conjures up a Parisian, Greek, Egyptian Goddess.
Staple Chanel chic with and an exotic mysterious aura.
Fantastic! Chanel doesn't fail to impress!

I have been a bad bad Sara!!
My blog has been neglected of recent. I am sorry!
But I'm here, back in business!

So yeah. LOVING Thierry Mugler A/W11 Menswear collection....

Mostly because THIS MAN is modelling them and is the center piece for their A/W11 campaign.
I refer to him as 'The Zombie Man' but his name is Rick he is super super famous in the tattoo world. He wants to be a tattooed zombie and has nearly covered his body in tattoos to give him that 'Zombie' look. He's amazing.

I read an interview he did with a Bizarre magazine, where he talked about how he would love to add to his zombie appearance by having one of his ears taken off, and the tip of his nose shaved off. Oh and also he would love to have his eyes tattooed black so it would look like black holes in his skull.

It always makes me happy when someone in the tattoo world gets recognised, so to have him as the front man for this collection makes me very very happy!!

Plus you know...the clothes are lil bit awesome too :)

I love the clashing of leathers against finer fabrics. The muted colour palete. Black. Black. Bit more black. Navy blue. Grey. Black. Gotta love it. The tailoring is so structured and fits perfectly, then set off against the baggy hareem trousers and flowing 'veils'. The collection has hints of bondage, with the pvc, cropped shirts and what seems like corsetry on some of the garments. I ADORE the pvc sleeve gloves!!! So amazing :D

On a side note...if someone would like to buy me these beauts!!! I would really appreciate it haha
